Sportsdigita Receives Second Investment Round With FinTech Leader PEAK6
Chicago, April 29, 2021 PEAK6, a financial technology business, announced today the completion of an additional investment in Sportsdigita, a sales enablement technology company founded by Angelina Lawton.
After pivoting from an agency to a SaaS model, the company is now known for its cloud-based presentation platform, Digideck, which enables sales and marketing teams to design and create customized presentations. PEAK6 has been an investor in Sportsdigita since January 2018.
Sportsdigita’s aggressive growth trajectory, innovative approach to customer experience, and transformative use of proprietary technology, combined with the numerous near-term expansion opportunities for the business, made it a natural candidate for PEAK6 to provide capital support. Sportsdigita’s sales enablement technology solutions are used by some of the biggest brands globally in the financial services, technology, healthcare, manufacturing and sports industries. By shortening sales cycles, driving revenue growth, delivering cohesive integrations and offering real-time back-end analytics, the Digideck has become an all-in-one selling solution for sales and marketing teams.
“The team at PEAK6 is energized by Sportsdigita’s growth and vision,” said Jenny Just, PEAK6 Co-Founder. “Sportsdigita has already made a major impact during the pandemic by powering solutions for remote selling and digital interactions. They have demonstrated the ability to pivot and capitalize on challenges and are continuing to diversify their offerings by extending into new verticals outside of sports. This investment will accelerate the growth of the Digideck platform at a critical inflection point in its trajectory. We are also proud to invest in a woman-run business, which is a key area of focus for PEAK6 as we continue to look for opportunities to support forward-thinking female founders and entrepreneurs.”
“Digideck’s ‘Sales Tech Stack’ has never been more important than it is right now,” said Angelina Lawton, Sportsdigita CEO & Founder. “We are poised for significant growth, and this funding will enable us to continue to invest in our proprietary technology and grow our sales and marketing efforts in the enterprise market, where we will more than double in size in 2021. Digideck is already transforming the way major corporations sell digitally. We developed Digideck LIVE as a direct result of the pandemic, and it’s now powering video conferencing and in-app chat for our clients’ all in one location: our Digideck platform. The introduction of Digideck LIVE has already transformed business for our partners, and we anticipate this momentum to continue as we can now go to market as a true all-in-one sales solution.”
Sportsdigita was recently named in back-to-back years to the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing U.S. Companies and is a proud WBENC female-owned business.
