Conference Overview
Atlanta in October
We’re excited to bring the 17th annual AXS Sports Facilities & Franchises conference and 7th annual Ticketing Symposium to Atlanta, Georgia! The theme for the three-day-program is Forward Focus and the sessions will explore the latest industry trends. A cornerstone of the program, includes an opportunity for attendees to tour two sports venues: SunTrust Park/The Battery Atlanta, showcasing the first major sports team to open a new sports stadium and mixed-used development, simultaneously; and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, one of the most anticipated new sports venues in the industry.
The three-day program is a must-attend for anyone in ticketing, franchise or facility management. Through venue tours and in-depth content, the conference covers the gamut of hot topics, from increasing incremental revenue, to the latest in ticketing and venue technology, to managing changing fan demographics, to best practices in ticket sales, in-stadium engagement, and fan enhancements.
This is the one program that brings the stakeholders together to engage in a candid discussion on the trends that are impacting the ticketing and facility/franchise landscape. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the leaders in the industry, as well as build relationships with these executives through the many networking events held throughout the three days.
The program will kick off on Wednesday, October 11 with the Ticketing Symposium followed by the Sports Facilities & Franchises conference on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13. As a networking event bridging the two programs, the Atlanta Hawks will host an Evening with the Hawks on Wednesday evening at the Omni Atlanta CNN Center. On Thursday afternoon, attendees will have an opportunity to visit SunTrust Park/The Battery Atlanta to see the new mixed-use development, and Friday morning the group will tour the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
WHO ATTENDS
Both events are designed for team presidents, CEOs and other C-level executives (CFO, COO, CIO, CMO), as well as vice presidents and directors of key functional areas: facility operations and management, ticketing, premium seating, corporate sales and marketing.
