Recent wins like the Formula One Miami Grand Prix, 2020 Super Bowl and 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers (and being named a host city of the 2026 FIFA World Cup) signal that the city, with 19 properties, can still attract the largest events. Miami has an outsized footprint in golf and tennis with six top-tier events. Law firm Greenberg Traurig, IMG Academy and Rosenhaus Sports Representation are based in the area. The market’s $215 average hotel rate is one of the highest in our study.
